Kirkcaldy is the largest town located in the Kingdom of Fife with an approximate population of around 47,000 people. The town lies on the north shore of the Firth of Forth with the neighbouring burghs of Dysart, Linktown and Pathhead all nearby. Kirkcaldy is the largest coastal settlement between Edinburgh and Dundee. Dundee is located around 45 minutes north while Edinburgh can be reached in around an hour’s drive. The town attracts many tourists, particularly in the summer months that come to enjoy the long stretch of sandy beach.
