Telesales Executive

Location: Tustin Court, Unit 1, First Floor, Port Way, Ashton-On-Ribble, Preston, PR2 2YQ

 

Aim of Job: Responsible for the generation of new business leads and appointments through outbound telesales activity.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To generate leads and quality appointments for the Associate Directors.
  • Advise on the product and service benefits to potential clients.
  • To ensure that your own targets and key performance indicators are being met on a daily basis.
  • To gather and document information about the customer.

General:

  • To promote and comply with the Altius Group’s policies on equal opportunities and in line with the Equality Act 2010.
  • To be responsible for improving your performance by participating in the Performance Appraisal process with your manager.
  • To carry out such other duties which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities or as necessitated by the needs of the business.

  • Good and effective communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Good telephone manner and skills.
  • Strong Customer Service and process skills.
  • Good negotiating and influencing capabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, KPI’s and Targets.

TRAINING/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Prepared to work as part of a team.
  • To be able to work flexibly and be prepared to assist others.
  • Has achieved a good attendance record.
  • Have a positive can do attitude.

The desirable criteria marked with an asterisk will be desirable at selection stage but will become essential once in post and will be discussed in the Performance Appraisal.
