Bruce & Co. are pleased to announce the retirement sale of a highly regarded Convenience Store, based inAberdeen.
A.I. & S Wells has been operated by the clients and their son since 1993, during which time they have built a business which has become an integral part of the local community. The business benefits from being branded as Premier Express and offers a wide selection of general groceries, including chilled foods, newspapers, magazines, confectionary, cigarettes, and wines. The property was presented in walk-in condition and came fully equipped with a full EPOS system, CCTV and alarm system with panic alarms.
Although the business was trading very successfully, opportunity existed for the new buyer to expand the profitability of the store. Once on the market, the business received high levels of interest and, following seven viewings and two offers, the freehold opportunity was sold to Mr Tamalampudi for £200,000 and funded through Clydesdale Bank.
