The Argyll Café Sells & Stays Within Family!

Bruce and Co. have successfully facilitated the sale of Argyll Cafe, a well-established and highly reputable café based in Lochgilphead. The café was established by the client’s, Mr Pia, family back in 1986, and was later purchased by the vendor himself in 2001.

The café benefits from being fully equipped, and is presented in true walk in condition. Additionally, the café also benefits from having a spacious, three bedroom flat above the shop – comprising of three large double bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, family bathroom, and an office. The flat is set over two levels, which the new owner intends to renovate.

The business received strong levels of interest and, following three viewings and three offers, the business was sold to Mr Pia’s brother – who is an experienced businessman. The sale completed quickly in just 4 months, with the leasehold interest completing for £150,000.  The client is pleased with the sale as the café has been able to remain within the family.

Jayne Adamson, Sales Manager at Bruce & Co., commented saying: “It was a pleasure to deal with the sale of Argyll Cafe. I am pleased that the sale has allowed the business to remain in the family, keeping in line with tradition. I would like to wish Mr Pia all the best in his future endeavors.”
