Bruce & Co. are delighted to announce the sale of Café Melbourne situated in Ayrshire, following extensive levels of interest.
The vendors, Ms Roberts and Ms Paul brought the business to the market as a means to retire from the trade. The café had stayed in the same family since after World War II; making this a rather unique sale. The town of Saltcoats views the café as somewhat of a landmark.
The café came with plenty of scope for development. To the upper floor of the property; there is a restaurant which ceased operating some years back – and this was due to the owners wanting to run the business solely as a café.
The sale also came with an owner’s accommodation; complete with a bathroom, large living area, kitchen, and a double bedroom.
The freehold business was sold to Mr and Mrs Meney following 10 viewings.
