Bruce & Co. are delighted to announce the sale of Port William Stores in Newton Stewart, Dumfries & Galloway.
The business comprises of a Spar convenience store which incorporates a post office service, and Tasty Bites – a popular coffee shop/takeaway service. The business had been under the ownership of the sellers, Mr and Mrs Dunlop, for over 8 years.
Both parts of the business trade very successfully, yet still provide new owners with the opportunity to increase turnover by extending opening hours. Port William Stores plays a vital role in the community, with the next nearest supermarket located 18 miles away.
The freehold business was eventually sold to Mr Masood Rehman. Mr Rehman is an experienced buyer; already managing another business in Bristol and will be looking to relocate to Newton Stewart following the sale of his business. He comments: “I would recommend Bruce & Co. and would use them again”
