Bruce & Co. are delighted to announce that celebrity chef, Tommy Miah, has acquired The Suburban Pantry in Blackhall – one of Edinburgh’s most desirable residential suburbs. Tommy Miah established the award-winning ‘Raj Restaurant’ in Edinburgh more than 20 years ago, and is the founder of the International Indian Chef of the Year Competition.
The business was under the ownership of the vendors’, Mr Orr and Ms Laing, since 2010 and they decided to place the business on the market due to other commitments.
The premises holds a prominent position on one of the main routes to the Forth Road Bridge, offering 38 covers.
The restaurant generated good levels of interest with 5 viewings, before being sold to the renowned celebrity chef.
