Sellers Retire Abroad Following Sale of Turriff Jewellers

Bruce & Co. are delighted to announce the sale of Turriff Jewellers; a former jewellery shop that had been trading successfully in Turriff, Aberdeenshire for over 100 years.

The business had been under the very caring ownership of the vendors, Mr & Mrs Geddes, for the past 30 years, and was only placed on the market due to their wish to retire abroad.

The business developed an excellent reputation for the quality of products sold. The business was the only stockist for several big brands in the area; offering a large range of jewellery and watches, as well as providing a repair service.

The shop is presented in walk-in condition and occupies a large traditional property on the main road through the town.

After 4 viewings, Turriff Jewellers was sold to Mr Kevin Taylor on a freehold basis, who cited the location and the size of the property as two of the key reasons that attracted him to this business.

Safa Sultan from Bruce & Co comments: “We are really glad that we have now found a buyer for the property and my clients are able to enjoy their retirement in New Zealand. Both Mr and Mrs Geddes, and Mr Taylor were a pleasure to work with”
