Bruce & Co. are delighted to announce the sale of Scoops of Pitlochry; a charmingly presented cafe located in Perth and Kinross.
Bruce & Co. have enjoyed a strong first half of the year in the licensed and leisure sector, with other café and restaurant sales including Mint Café in Edinburgh, Robin’s Nest in Berwickshire, and the Oystercatcher in Argyll.
The Scoops of Pitlochry was founded by the vendor, Mr David Keddy, in 2012, and has developed a reputation for being one of the town’s best places to enjoy food with friends and family. The café was placed on the market due to Mr Keddy’s wish to retire.
The property comprises of a traditionally built terraced building and came well fitted with an equipped kitchen, food preparation area, and toilet facilities.
The sale generated strong levels of interest with 6 viewings, before being sold to first time buyer, Mrs Jemma Barclay, on leasehold basis.
The vendor, Mr Keddy, commented: “Everything went well – I would recommend Bruce & Co. to other people. I was kept up to date with all progress.”
Safa Sultan, Sales Negotiator at Bruce & Co. stated: “The sale of the café provided a great opportunity to purchase a well-established business with excellent potential. I’m pleased that the vendor can retire knowing the business has been sold to someone very capable.”
