A couple in West Sussex are now looking forward to their retirement after the sale of Avon House, a superb elderly care home, through Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
Avon House, registered for 19 residents, operates from a highly visible and imposing three stories detached period property in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Ideally situated, with road and rail links to London, Avon House offers all its residents a superb ‘home from home’ feel. The business was initially purchased by the vendors five years ago and was only placed on the market due to their wish to retire.
Following a high number of viewings and 6 offers, the business was sold to first-time buyers who were attracted to Avon House thanks largely to its excellent trading record and good location. They are now looking to ensure the continuity of the business and improve the setting further.
