A group of two exceptional day nurseries have been sold to an experienced nursery operative, through Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
Ashbourne Day Nurseries Limited have acquired Tots Day Nursery Limited, comprising of two settings registered for a combined total of 86 children in Hertfordshire. Operating from excellent commuter locations, the sale represented an ideal opportunity for an ambitious existing operator looking to expand their group.
Following a number of viewings, the business was sold to Ashbourne Day Nurseries Limited, who are looking to grow their portfolio, and were excited by the potential of the two nurseries.
The vendors, Mr and Mrs Stanbrook, decided to place the business on the market due to their wish to retire. They established the first of the two settings over 23 years ago, and their hard work, time and money saw their business grow into a first-class nursery group.

It took an age because of hold ups from Hertfordshire County Council regarding the lease, for no valid reason but with perseverance from both sides we finally got there.”
