Barend Holiday Village was brought to the market due to the vendors wish to retire. The well-appointed facility represented a fantastic opportunity to develop a well-established holiday destination and expand. After being presented with two offers from Bruce & Co the vendor opted to sell to a first-time buyer, who was attracted to the stunning setting in which Barend is situated.
Just 400 yards away from the sandy beach, Barend has lots to offer including a bar and restaurant, indoor heated pool, sauna and laundrette. It is also a golfers’ paradise situated within a 20-mile radius of no fewer than 16 golf courses.
This is one of a number of recent high profile sales within Scottish leisure market and underlines the current strength of the sector, as increasing numbers of holidaymakers are choosing to stay in the UK.
