The nursery has been under careful ownership for 15 years and during that time the nursery has earnt an excellent reputation for providing quality childcare within a warm and secure environment.
The vendors Mrs. Macbryde and Mrs. Lawton who are mother and daughter, decided to place the business on the market due to their wish to retire and pursue other business interests. Redwoods Dowling Kerr presented the vendors with multiple viewings and a successful offer from experienced operators, Alpha Nurseries Ltd.
Alpha Nurseries Ltd are a large nursery group who have just this year entered into top 25 largest nursery chains in the UK. (*Nursery World league table August 2017). Alpha Nurseries were attracted to this opportunity as it is located within close proximity to their other nurseries and has potential for them to develop further. The groups plans are to invest in the setting and integrate it into their successful nursery group.
