Redwoods Dowling Kerr were approached by the owners of Kiddiwinks Day Nursery, Ruth and Joan Clayton, due to their desire to consider retirement. Redwoods Dowling Kerr secured a high number of viewings for the business, which allowed them to present Ruth and Joan with several offers from various interested parties. In the end, the successful offer came from an aspiring first-time buyer, Christine Barton, who wanted to grow her portfolio in the childcare sector.
Christine has over ten years of experience in the education sector, as well as experience working alongside parents and nurseries in the past. However, this was her first time acquiring a specialist childcare business, which can often present a daunting challenge.
Kiddiwinks Day Nursery is a well-established business based in Liverpool. Located within the centre of a populated urban area, the nursery has developed a warm and positive relationship with the local community that has allowed it to thrive as a successful business. This purpose-built nursery features an indoor and outdoor play area, plant and flower garden, art rooms and much more.
