Redwoods Dowling Kerr were contacted by the owner of Dawn to Dusk, Mrs. Laraine Jalili-Hodges as she wished to discuss the sale of her business. Mrs. Hodges has spent the last 20 years in the daycare industry, which meant that pursuing the sale of the nursery was a huge decision for her. Redwoods Dowling Kerr ensured that the process was as easy and straightforward as possible for Mrs. Jalili-Hodges.
Redwoods Dowling Kerr secured over 15 viewings for Dawn to Dusk, which proved to be very popular, presenting Mrs Jalili-Hodges with multiple offers from potential buyers. Ultimately a successful offer came from Mr. Akhil Patel, a first-time buyer.
Mr. Patel comes from a background in healthcare, specialising in on osteopathy, however, the purchase was partly influenced by his wife who has over 11 years’ experience in teaching. The couple believes that Dawn to Dusk represents an opportunity to use their experience to positively influence the business, whilst developing their expertise in the industry which will hopefully enable them to continue their investments.
Dawn to Dusk is located in a single storey property, with a spaciously detached building situated within the grounds. The nursery is extremely well presented with each of its rooms accessible from the main entrance. Dawn to Dusk is separated into several rooms; the baby room, the toddler room, the two’s room and the classroom. Each of these rooms have been specifically designed to provide a unique learning experience, suitable for the respective age ranges. The children also benefit from an indoor activity room, a large room designed for play, movement and musical activities. This room is also used in combination with the outdoor garden area that includes; a vegetable patch, a dig area, and a sand pit.
The nursery is equipped with the highest quality facilities and employs highly qualified, experienced staff to ensure that the children receive the highest level of care. Dawn to Dusk works hard to ensure that each parent or carer is confident that their child is happy and safe at their nursery.
Mrs. Jalili-Hodges created a vision of an ideal nursery setting over 20 years ago and that has come to fruition, as evidenced by the brilliant reputation that the nursery has built. The nursery offers stimulating and educational opportunities for the children to develop in a safe and caring environment. They also offer tailor-made and flexible care packages to suit individual needs wherever possible.
The nursery is currently registered for 78 children and has the potential to be expanded upon to account for its location, within a densely populated area with excellent infrastructure.
