Redwoods Dowling Kerr approached the owners of Millfield Cattery, Mr. and Mrs. Perry as they wished to discuss the sale of their cattery business. After spending many years cultivating and nurturing their cattery, the decision to finally part way with their business came from their wish to enjoy retirement.

Millfield Cattery has been an established feline licensed cattery for many years and is designed specifically to meet the needs of all cats and their owners. The cattery has built a great reputation over the years and is popular amongst the local community and even further afield, situated just outside of Chelmsford and several other busy areas.
Within the cattery, there are over 39 chalets, each of which has an indoor, full height compartment that is heated and fully insulated with a cat flap leading to an outside run. This looks out on to the garden which has been designed to give the cats visual stimulation and interest. Each chalet can take a maximum of two cats from the same household. Alternatively, there are several larger family chalets that can accommodate up to four cats from the same household.
The property itself is in a stunning condition both inside and out. The previous owners ensured that the property was constantly maintained and the results speak for themselves. The interior décor oozes charm and has a distinct country feel. The most recent renovations to the property have seen it benefit from modern bathrooms and a large well-fitted kitchen.
The cattery is licensed to accommodate for up to 90 cats, with over 39 pens and chalets available. The cattery is open 7 days a week.
