Redwoods Dowling Kerr contacted the owners of Excel Day Nursery, Mr. and Mrs. Khan as they wished to discuss the sale of their day nursery. After spending many years managing and growing their business, the couple decided that they wanted to pursue a different lifestyle, which ultimately meant moving on from their homegrown nursery business.

Mrs. Siziba was drawn to the business because of her background as a fully qualified nursery nurse and social worker. Prior to the purchase of this nursery, she had managed a childcare setting for over ten years. Another important factor for Mrs. Siziba was the location of the business, as it was situated in the popular suburban area of East London, making it a highly attractive location. She was confident that given her experience and the nurseries stable management structure, she could continue to grow the business successfully.
As a first-time buyer in the childcare industry, Mrs. Siziba was slightly wary but found herself pleasantly surprised when she realised that the in-house team at Redwoods Dowling Kerr could take care of everything from start to finish.
