The owner of Nature’s Nursery contacted the specialist childcare team at Redwoods Dowling Kerr, as she wished to discuss the sale of the business. The seller decided to pursue other business interests, which ultimately meant she had to part ways with the nursery.
The seller was looking for a quick turnaround on the sale of Nature’s Nursery, and as the UK’s leading broker in the childcare market, Redwoods Dowling Kerr quickly generated interest for the nursery. The successful offer was accepted by an experienced and industry-leading company, All About Children.
All About Children is a large childcare group that operates 21 other childcare settings in the South of England. The group has worked extensively with Redwoods Dowling Kerr in the past, having purchased five other childcare settings since 2010.
The nursery was an ideal purchase for the group as it fits the criteria they were looking for; a large nursery, in a great location within the South East of England that boasts an excellent reputation. The seller was delighted with the smooth handover of the business to such a reputable company, in such a short space of time.
Nature’s Nursery was established by the previous owner in 2010, by converting a substantial detached property in Ascot. Since then, a tremendous amount of work and investment have gone into improving the nursery to the level it operates at today.
Natures Nursery works incredibly hard to deliver a high standard of childcare and is rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The addition of the Forest School, with its qualified Forest School teacher, sets it apart from other nurseries in the area.
Natures Nursery believes that the education of a child should be a partnership between caring parents and a caring childcare provider. They encourage the children in their care to develop into happy, confident individuals with a strong sense of social awareness. They equip them for more formal learning, while also giving them a thirst for further educational adventures.
The setting is run by a qualified manager who is supported by a dedicated team of well qualified early years practitioners. The nursery is run autonomously and have a strong reputation within the local community for childcare provision.
Nature’s Nursery in Ascot is a Forest School, registered for 90 children from the ages 0 – 5 to and opens from the hours of 7.30am through to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks per year. In addition to this, Natures Nursery runs a holiday club during school closure periods for children aged between 3 and 11 years old.
