The owners of Attenborough Day Nursery, Mr and Mrs Bentley contacted the specialist childcare team at Redwoods Dowling Kerr as they wished to discuss the sale of their business. Mr and Mrs Bentley made the decision to sell their nursery due to pursuing other business interests.
As the UK’s leading broker in the childcare market, Redwoods Dowling Kerr quickly generated interest for the Nottingham nursery. Mr and Mrs Bentley were looking for a buyer who had a genuine interest in maintaining the nurseries success. Mr and Mrs Bentley wanted to find someone with an existing presence within the childcare sector, who would build upon the solid foundations, ensuring the continued growth of the nursery.
The successful offer was accepted by Ms Warburton who has experience within the childcare industry and currently has two other well established, successful businesses.
Ms Warburton was initially attracted to Attenborough Day Nursery because of its popular location within Nottingham, as well as its on-going successful reputation. The business provides an excellent opportunity for Ms Warburton to develop and expand her ever growing portfolio of nurseries.
The Attenborough Day Nursery is a private day nursery in the lovely, peaceful conservation village of Attenborough which opened in January 2011. The nursery has two sites, which are only a few minutes apart.
The first setting operates from a converted detached property, which has been sympathetically and extensively upgraded, offering a deceptively spacious nursery with a warm, homely feel, accompanying two cosy idyllic rooms for children aged zero to two and a half years of age.

The second setting is located within a detached former school premises, which is superbly appointed throughout, creating an ideal nursery environment, for ages two and a half to five years.
