Hawthorns Private Day Nursery Sold to First Time Buyer

Redwoods Dowling Kerr is delighted to announce the sale of Hawthorns Private Day Nursery in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

The owners of Hawthorns Private Day Nursery contacted the specialist childcare team at Redwoods Dowling Kerr, as they wished to discuss the sale of the business. The seller decided to pursue other business interests with a change of direction, which ultimately meant parting ways with the nursery.

The seller was looking for a quick turnaround on the sale of Hawthorns Nursery and as the UK’s leading broker in the childcare market, Redwoods Dowling Kerr quickly generated interest for the nursery. The successful offer was accepted by first time buyer within the industry, Mr Rajest Sampat.

Mr Sampat and his wife have been in the convenience store industry for over 30 years. The decision to buy within the childcare industry came from Mrs Sampats desire to run her own nursery, after working within a different setting. With them being first time owners of a nursery, they will be seeking advice and guidance from close friends, with over 20 years experience in the childcare industry.

The nursery was an ideal purchase for Mr and Mrs Sampat, as it fits the criteria they were looking for; a large nursery, in a desirable village within West Yorkshire, that boasts an excellent reputation. The seller was delighted with the smooth handover of the business to such an experienced and ambitious buyer, in such a short space of time.

The nursery operates from four main principal rooms, providing care for the relevant age groups, which are located on both the ground and first floor of the property.

The rooms are immaculately appointed with vibrant and colourful décor, creating a warm and stimulating environment. Externally, there are secure outdoor play areas offering a variety of different learning environments including, soft play and lawned garden. A car park is also available so that children can be safely picked up and dropped off.

The nursery has been managed part-time by the owners and there are also two managers who support and uphold the running of the nursery. There is a mix of full time and part time members of staff. There is a team of qualified staff in place, which is another factor that has contributed to the on-going success and reputation of the business.
