Redwoods Dowling Kerr is delighted to announce the sale of Childsplay of Liverpool Limited in Wavertree, Merseyside. The nursery was sold to the highly regarded Kids Planet Day Nurseries; a family-owned group of 24 nurseries in the North West of England. This sale marked a celebrated 25th addition to the group.
Redwoods Dowling Kerr contacted the owners of Childsplay of Liverpool, Mr and Mrs Edwards who wished to discuss the sale of their nursery. After spending years building and developing an excellent business reputation, the couple wanted to pass on their successful business to a like-minded, quality childcare provider who could continue what they started.
Redwoods Dowling Kerr was confident that the business would generate a healthy amount of interest, as the nursery was well-established, with a fantastic reputation and situated in an ideal location.
The nursery received high interest from a number of different parties, resulting in multiple offers being put forward for the business, a testament to the fantastic opportunity it represented.
The vendors were more than happy to pass their legacy on to the experienced group, who in turn were delighted to have acquired an established nursery with an exceptional reputation, in the heart of Merseyside.
Established since 1988, Childsplay of Liverpool offers the highest quality of childcare, and due to being situated in a densely populated area with easy access to and from main roads and public transport links, the nursery has traded extremely successfully. The plan for the new owners is for the nursery to continue its success and build on the excellent reputation already established by Mr and Mrs Edwards.
The sellers, Mr and Mrs Edwards commented on their experience saying that:
