Redwoods Dowling Kerr is delighted to announce the sale of Park Avenue Day Nursery in Sale, Greater Manchester. The nursery was sold to Ms Hignett who had previously purchased a childcare business from Redwoods Dowling Kerr.
Redwoods Dowling Kerr contacted the owners of Park Avenue Day Nursery, Mrs Mcdowell who wished to discuss the sale of her nursery due to alternative business plans and opportunities outside of the childcare sector. After spending years building and developing an excellent business, Mrs Mcdowell wanted to pass on her legacy to a like-minded, passionate, quality childcare provider who would be able to continue building on their success.
Redwoods Dowling Kerr was confident that the business would generate a healthy amount of interest, as the nursery was well-established, with a fantastic reputation and situated in an ideal location with easy access to commuter routes.
As predicted the nursery received an offer following the first initial viewing from buyer, Ms Hignett. A testament to the fantastic opportunity it represented.
The accepted offer came from experienced buyer, Ms Hignett who previously purchased a childcare business through Redwoods Dowling Kerr, back in 2015. Ms Hignett has an established reputation in the childcare sector with numerous years of experience of managing nurseries.
Mrs Mcdowell was delighted to find a buyer who clearly has a passion for the industry and ambitious expansion plans for the nursery. The buyer was also thrilled to add another nursery to her current and expanding portfolio.
Park Avenue Day Nursery offers the highest quality of childcare and is situated in a densely populated area with easy access to and from main roads and public transport links. As a result, the nursery has had long-standing success which looks set to continue.
