Mauritius based Investor acquires Jumping Jacks

Redwoods Dowling Kerr is delighted to announce the sale of Jumping Jacks, a freehold children’s daycare nursery, situated in Bedford, Bedfordshire. The nursery was sold to an ambitious first-time buyer, having a passion for childcare with experience working within the education and finance sectors.

Redwoods Dowling Kerr contacted the vendor of Jumping Jacks, Mrs Sarah Tamburrini who wished to discuss the sale of her nursery after she relocated.

Following years of building and developing an excellent business, Mrs Tamburrini wanted to pass on her legacy to a like-minded and passionate individual who would be able to continue building on their success.

The business was sold to Mr Shanaka Katuwawala, a financial researcher from Mauritius, who has moved back to the UK to invest in childcare businesses.

In a statement, Mr Tamburrini said:

“Thank you very much for the successful sale of my day nursery.

“I would like to thank Karrina at Redwoods Dowling Kerr for all her help in dealing with the sale of my nursery. Karrina was extremely professional and kept in close communication throughout the process.

“I would recommend Redwoods Dowling Kerr. Wishing you the best for the future.”

Redwoods Dowling Kerr was confident that the business would generate a healthy amount of interest, as the nursery was well-established, with an enviable reputation and situated in an ideal location with easy access to commuter routes.

The nursery provides quality childcare and is registered for up to 41 children. As a result, Jumping Jacks has long-standing success that looks set to continue.

Karrina Lee, Sales Negotiator commented:

Jumping Jacks is a well-established and profitable business, making this an ideal opportunity for Mrs Katuwawala.

“I wish Mrs Tamburrini all the best for the future.”
