SPAR CONVENIENCE STORE IN DURHAM SOLD VIA KINGS

Langley Park

A happy client is enjoying retirement after the sale of a Spar convenience store in Langley Park, Durham.

Mr David Robson, who has run the franchise since 1990, was delighted when Kings secured 11 viewings and 3 offers for the business after a few months of marketing.

The family-run store has been in the family of Mr Robson for over 45 years, occupying a busy main road location in the village.

The store enjoys a high turnover with custom coming from repeat and passing trade.

Citing the location as one of the reasons that persuaded him to purchase, buyer Mr Tony Singh now hopes to build on the success of the business.

Commenting on the transaction, Mr David Robson said:

“Adam showed great knowledge and professionalism throughout the whole transaction. There were several complications with the sale, but Adam was always available to help resolve any issues in an efficient manner.

“You have always been there and been a tremendous help and kept my spirits up. Thanks for all your help.”

Adam Hussain, who negotiated the transaction, said:

“Following the sale of the Spar at Langley Park, I would like to say thank you to all parties for working together to achieve a successful outcome.

“I wish the buyer all the success in the future and the very best for Mr Robson on the next chapter of his life.”
