Jack In The Box Day Nursery Sold by Redwoods Dowling Kerr

Vendors enjoying retirement after selling their Manchester nursery of 21 years through Redwoods Dowling Kerr.

Under the ownership of Mr Popoola, Mr Carey and family for over 20 years, Jack in The Box Day Nursery was put onto the market after the vendors sought to retire. Having up to 31 children under its care, the nursery received a “Good” Ofsted rating after its last inspection in January 2018, maintaining an excellent reputation and enjoying regular referrals and high occupancy levels as a result.

Noting the nursery’s standing within the industry as one of the influencing factors of the sale, the buyer Mr Selvadurai looked to enhance his new portfolio with the addition of Jack in the Box, attracted to the nursery due to its location and opportunity at hand.

Appreciative of the service he received, Buyer Mr Joel Selvadurai stated;

Redwoods Dowling Kerr was efficient and clear at every step of the way. They have a good-natured team with the ability to deal with difficult situations very well. Sarah and Natasha are the best brokers I have ever worked with.”

The service was excellent, flawless. I really like and appreciate the fact that Natasha and Sarah are always very quickly and easily contactable by phone and email. They are both incredibly efficient.”

Lead Negotiator of the sale Sarah commented;

Established by our vendor in 1998 the nursery has enjoyed over 20 years of success in the Openshaw area of Manchester.”

“The sellers are very passionate about the nursery and finding the right buyer was key to making sure Jack in the Box has another 20 years + of success in the industry.”

“Mr Selvadurai is a keen investor and saw his opportunity to add Jack in the Box into their acquisition plans for the Childcare sector and the sellers were pleased he picked their setting.”

“I would like to wish Mr Carey and Mr Popoola and their families all the best in the future and every success to Joel and his business partners with their expansions plans.”
