Caring for 46 children from 0 to 5 years of age, Bright Starts Nursey enjoyed a healthy fee income on the back of its excellent reputation for providing high quality childcare. The setting’s standards are echoed through the findings of the latest Ofsted report, with the Nursery being rated “Good”, going on to achieve “Outstanding” for the personal development, behaviour and welfare of the children under its care. Bright Starts was put onto the market with Redwoods Dowling Kerr as the vendor, Laura Fairhurst wished to pursue other business interests.
Once on the market, the business received 8 viewings with 2 offers being made on the back of these. The successful bid was made by Jade Patten, whilst the nursery made for her first acquisition, she holds a deep appreciation for the sector after 25 years in the industry.
