With a capacity of 32 children between the ages of two and five years of age, Gates Green
Pre-School in West Wickham, Kent established deep roots within the surrounding community, with its prominent position within the town attracting parents from the rich mix of residential housing and major commuter networks.
The children’s development, independence and confidence in learning, alongside the enthusiasm and thoroughness displayed by the nursery staff earned the setting a rating of “Good” after their most recent inspection by Ofsted.
Once on the market with Redwoods Dowling Kerr the business received multiple offers on the back of three viewings, with the Vendor, Mrs Valerie Moor wanting to sell her nursery to facilitate her retirement. The successful bid was made by local childcare operator Glen Jones, saying the prominent location of the setting and potential for development enticed him to make the offer.
