Fingerprints Nursery was established in 2008 by the vendor, Miss Karen Kayes. It was formed to meet the increasing demand for high-quality childcare in the Cleckheaton area.

Karen Kayes reached the decision to place her comprehensive nursery setting onto the market. This was ultimately influenced by her desire to draw the curtains on her successful operation of this setting and enjoy a hard-earned retirement from the childcare sector.
She concluded that she has achieved everything she set out to with this remarkable setting. Since acquiring the nursery in 2008, she has greatly improved its business trajectory, leaving in place an excellent setting to acquire.
12 years later, it is now time for a new sector operative to take control of the setting, allowing the nursery to further benefit from expert ownership. It is also time for Karen to enjoy her retirement from the sector.
Karen commissioned the brokerage team at Redwoods Dowling Kerr with handling the sale of this successful and locally renowned business.
RDK were privileged to place the setting onto the market, and after doing so it subsequently generated a considerable amount of interest; receiving 17 viewings and 4 offers.
This setting was swiftly acquired by a family run nursery group. They were greatly attracted to this comprehensive childcare setting, and they saw an excellent opportunity to implement their own ideas and values into the nursery.
The prime trading location of Fingerprints Nursery, paired with the opportunity to grow and develop the business, was what greatly influenced this sale.
Because the setting has been established since 2008, the longstanding and well-respected history of the setting also played a significant part in the purchaser’s decision to acquire this setting.
The new owners wish to get to know their staff and their clients, and they wish to implement their family ethos in the setting.
They wish to incorporate this nursery into their expanding family run group. They wish to continue operating the setting and deliver the highest standards of childcare.
