Trinity House Nursing Home Has Been Sold Thanks to RDK

An acclaimed former nursing home in Northampton, Northamptonshire is now under ownership.

Trinity House was established by the vendor, Mr James Robinson, to meet the increasing demand for high quality, user-oriented care in the local area and whilst it is now a vacant nursing home, the commanding Victorian property serves as an excellent location for reinstatement of the former nursing home business.

Throughout their tenure, the vendor considerably renovated and reinvested into Trinity House, transforming it into a modern and versatile nursing home which has been extended and updated over the years.

The interior of the building has also been substantially converted, offering comfortable accommodation featuring 23 bedrooms, a passenger lift, commercial kitchen, office and toilet facilities.

Additionally, the previous vendor also renovated the loft and the basement, providing 2 additional offices, storage facilities and a laundry room.

Having concluded it was time for a new operator to take over, James entrusted the team at Redwoods Dowling Kerr to conduct the sale, relying on their years of experience to deliver him the best result.

Once introduced onto the market, the business generated a large amount of interest resulting in 12 viewings from interested parties.

Following receipt of 7 competitive offers, the nursing home was ultimately acquired by Mr Salim Lalani, an experienced corporate operative who already owns a successful care home within the area, who saw Trinity House as being the perfect expansion for his business.

With 8 years’ previous experience in the sector, James saw him as being the ideal purchaser for his setting. Someone who recognised the potential in Trinity House, and who wanted an opportunity to transform the setting into a high-quality care facility.

The vendor, James Robinson, commented;

“We wish to thank RDK for an excellent and professional service.”

“Initially we were hesitant as prior to this we had had the services of another commercial agent that could not cut the mustard unless selling at an unfair and unrealistic figure whilst drawing out the sales process.”

“We took the plunge and did not regret it.”

“Solid enquiries were coming forward through their very professional representative who in this case was Asif Musa.”

“We would have no hesitation in recommending RDK as from start to finish a proactive communication existed with a solid remit of sale for a fair price that was achieved in a realistic time.”

The buyer, Salim Lalani, commented;

“I am delighted to have worked closely with Redwoods Dowling Kerr on the purchase of a vacant property in Northamptonshire, Asif kept us informed each step of the way to completion and has been very supportive.”

“He was proactive and kept us well informed thorough out the sale, and also recommended me to one of their panels of Solicitors, Thursfields, who acted for us in a quick and professional manner.”

“We would certainly use Redwoods Dowling Kerr for subsequent future purchases.”

Lead Negotiator Asif Musa commented;

“One of the secrets of our success is the exposure we can provide for our vendors. By putting our businesses in front of the widest possible audience we ensure they’re getting the very best price and I’m delighted James can now embark on the next chapter. I wish him all the best with his retirement, and I wish the purchaser the best of luck with his plans moving forward.”
