Tots 2 Teens Nursery Smoothly Transitions to New Ownership

Redwoods Dowling Kerr are proud to announce the sale of this setting in Papworth Everard.

Originally established in 2012 in the village of Papworth Everard, the vendor, Gill O’Neill, initially purchased the setting with the aspiration to create a nursery group. They began running the setting and consolidated its place in the local community. This comprehensive children’s day nursery features a capacity of 50 children and benefits from limited competition. The nursery site is located within a well populated area, and it has developed an excellent reputation within the area. It appeals to both local residents and those who travel to the location for work. Gill O’Neill has always had a daily input in the running of the setting, and she is fully supported by a team of committed staff who are enrolled in a continuous and ever-evolving training programme.

Tots 2 Teens has benefitted from the professional and experienced ownership of Gill O’Neill. The setting has been run efficiently and to a high standard, further contributing to its established and complimentary reputation within the local area.

The vendor realised that it was time to sell her professional childcare setting due to her decision to move out of the area, and to start a new chapter. Once the nursery setting was placed onto the market, it was acquired by Mark Wilsher, the owner and operator of Clarence House Day Nursery. Already well-established in the childcare sector, Mark Wilsher was drawn to the nursery setting due to its appealing trading location.

Mark Wilsher plans on rejuvenating the business. He wishes to incorporate the nursery into his expanding nursery group. Mark will continue to operate the nursery to the high standard of which the nursery’s clients are accustomed to.

The buyer, Mark Wilsher, commented;

“This was not an easy transaction. We found Natasha persistent and determined to ensure that everything possible was done to make the transaction happen. Without her it is very likely that the purchase would not have happened. She was a great help in getting both sides together to see the wood from the trees.”

Lead Negotiator Natasha Satterthwaite commented;

“There were moments when no one was sure we’d manage to get this over the line, but due to in particularly Gill’s persistence and dedication we have managed. I’m so pleased that they can get on with their new life and Mark has managed to acquire a nursery in such a great location for his group. I’d like to wish them both the best of luck in all their future endeavours.”
